About delivery

Can you deliver at this address? Not the city — the building. Ask whether the answer comes from a desk check or a physical survey.
Is the lead time to survey or to delivery? Routinely quoted interchangeably, and they are very different numbers.
If civil works are needed, who pays and who gets the permits?

About the contract

What does the SLA commit to besides availability? A maximum time to repair, or the percentage means very little.
Are credits automatic or claimed? A credit you have to notice and request is one most companies never collect.
Is the access circuit priced separately from the service? Bundled quotes hide which half is expensive.
Can the port be upgraded without a new install? Cheap now, expensive to grow, is a common shape.

About the bad day

Where does the second path physically run? Different duct, different entry point, verified on the route. If nobody can answer, you have two invoices rather than redundancy.
Who attends the site, from where, at 3am on a Sunday? In Brazil this varies enormously by city and it decides whether an outage lasts four hours or four days.
With several suppliers, who owns the incident? The common failure is not a broken circuit — it is three vendors each explaining the fault is on somebody else's segment.
