These sites are where the Brazilian carrier map runs out, and where downtime is measured in stopped production. A pit, a processing plant, a substation or a wind farm is usually tens of kilometres past the last address any carrier will quote without a project. What exists there is normally one route or none, and the design has to be assembled rather than ordered: fibre for the stretch that has it, licensed fixed wireless for the stretch that does not, satellite where neither reaches and as the path that stays up when the ground fails.

For telemetry, monitoring, voice and video it is normally adequate at a remote site. Latency-critical closed-loop control is a different conversation and is usually kept local by design. The honest answer depends on the specific system, which is why we ask what runs at the site before proposing.
Availability figures are the easy part. What actually determines the outcome is the repair commitment: who travels to the site, from where, and within what time. On a site hours from the nearest city that clause matters more than the availability percentage above it.
They can share the circuit but they must not share the same class of service. Camp traffic is heavy and bursty, and if it competes with process control, safety systems and cameras for the same capacity, the busiest hour of the camp becomes an operations problem.
